    Primarily just to the right of that plate, where you see a green plate and red gasket seal paste, which helped a lot, but did not complete seal leak.

    That appears to be the head gasket. If it is warped it has been run hot. Probably ran hot enough to Gall the pistons. You could try replacing head gasket but really if you hade to go beyond that not worth it. Buy a good motor and go on. If pistons are galled probably have to bore and sleeve block which means complete tear down and more parts. Just not worth it.

    If that is size motor you want and need, plenty of older good running Johnson and Evenrude 9.9's out there and they are almost indistrutable.
