    Default MK power cord

I have a new MK endura max 45 TM. Poor thing hasnt even made it's maiden voyage. While in the shop today, I shovel dropped from the wall and cut one of the power leads almost in half. I need to replace the cable and it is obviously not a warranty issue. Question is about the grommet/strain relief. Is this just a push in grommet? I did a little prying but it hasnt come out with moderate pressure. I want to make sure before I put the channel locks to it.

Where did you cut it? I would just splice it.

Splice it......solder the connection.....put liquid tape on it and then heat shrink

I could, but I have the parts and tools to do it right, Why rig it? I am repairing it tonight and will report in tomorrow and let you know how it went.

The grommet does just pop in, but almost impossible to remove from the outside. I ended up removing the top cover, disconnecting the 2 spade terminals for the cable and pushing it out from the inside. Total repair time was about 15 mins once I removed the top cover.
