Sounds like a good deal to me also, be sure and check the bottom for dents and the transon for stress cracks outside and inside

The boat metal is in great condition and no dents at all. Only issue is that the boat has sat since winter of 2012 with no use. It had leaves and dirt 6 inns deep in the bottom of the boat. Bench seat is trashed and no Pedestal seat of Trolling motor bracket or wiring. Motor sounded ok when I got there to see it and inside was pretty clean.

See if you can get a test ride in it, only thing I would do is new water pump, and it's not hard to do yourself on 2 stroke yam. worse case have carbs cleaned, still not a bad deal your looking at a boat that was close to 25,000- 30,000 new,

I can tell you in 2013 a 2072 with a 90 merc 4 stroke plumbed livewell under bench seat, gun box, and extended livewell in front of side console was 23,000. 12 sounds like a fair deal to me.

I owned a 2072 and now a 860, at that price buy it! War Eagle is one of the best tin boats on the market and the resale value is great, so at that price (assuming everything is functional) it is a great deal for the purchaser.

Check for proper sparkplugs and do a compression test. Don't ask how I know this, $4700 later I had a good motor . wrong plugs popped a hole in a piston.
