Turn motor over set on cowling it helps
Sorry to here that is the tube attached to waterpump or in exhaust housing I've had to put a little grease on tube to hold in housing then lower the foot on it lune up with screwdriver hope u get it figured out
i think i'm going rabbit hunting i need a brake season ends sunday, here bunnie.... bunnie i need a brake
Sometimes a few pictures tell a lot more about what the trouble is. Is the copper water tube in the housing or the foot it should be in the housing part. So you can see the foot part when lining everything up. Youtube has videos showing how to put water pumps in also. I'm not a mechanic but I have replaced a bunch of water pump propellers in,in my life time. Hope this helps. Be safe and good luck rabbit hunting.
This procedure remains a mystery @ the moment, but there's allway's sometin new to learn over the next horizon......... Thanks for the youtube suggestion i guess i've watch them all and no where do they show the re-installation of the copper-water tube from the powerhead to the pump-housing.All's i can say @ this time [PERPLEXED]

Amaziing1; It may be in your best interest to take your motor to a qualified mechanic. Because it will be cheaper to get the water pump working properly than to have to replace the whole motor. I had a 30 hp. motor to stop pumping water and did not go 200 yards up the river and it burn the motor up. Now I always check to make sure motor is pumping water when cranking and before leaving the boat landing. Just saying lesson learned "been there and done that". Be safe and good luck fishing.
I don't think your right.......... I know you are, Thanks!Scrat, for the encouraging advise, i'll let u know how it turns out.I've changed the plugs, done a radical treatment of sea foam on the motor......... one can to two gallons of gas, replaced the spark plugs. When it gets back here i'm gonna change the thermostat.I took this motor off of a 16ft landau and put it on an alumacraft 1648 created me a duck-boat and a trot-line machine and maybe even a spider-rigger.Will post pics of the transformation.Rabbit, season ended sunday........ here piggy piggy.sooooowee!
