How long are you fishing after you stop? My motor does the same but I fish for an hour at least after I stop. Nothing wrong with my carbs it will idle till it runs out of gas. If you spend over a hour trolling and fishing after you stop all that's happened is the gas drained out of you carbs. I pump my bubble back up, choke my motor and it fires right up. I hope this helps.

Is the primer bulb stayn pumped up ? Sounds like it mite be sucking air, this could be a bad connection to the tank or a pin hole in the bulb.

Replaced all lines fittings and the bulb from the tank to the motor .could the lines inside the motor be bad or even the fuel tank?

Try marineengine.com, have used them several times, quite knowledgeable. Will have to sign up like you did here. When you do, state your serial number on your thread. Will help them to figure it out. Good luck.

When you start you boat for the first time on a fishing trip, how hard is it to start? Once it starts will it idle without choke / warm up lever? 2 stoke motors are a fairly simple concept fuel and fire. Assuming that you have good compression, when you start you motor for the first time on a trip if it is hard to start but idles fine than your carbs / low speed jets / idle adjustment is fine. This could be something as cheap and simple as bad / wrong spark plugs. When you run wide open if youre turning good rpm and you're motor isn't surging, this will eliminate high speed jets/ fuel pump/ fuel lines/ fuel fittings. It's been my experience when lines and fittings are the culprit it will let you know at wide open throttle, your motor should surge/ die. What are you mixing your fuel? it should be 50-1. Are you running ethanol gas? Do you have a fuel water separator in your line? If you're mixing oil to heavy in your gas, you're not doing your spark plugs any favors. If you're not running ethanol free gas you are killing you're 2 stoke, buy a fuel water separator and use a product such as marine stabil. I run ethanol free super unleaded and I use these two precautions regardless. I know it's alot of questions and alot to think about but I hope this helps.

Shallow runner, the plugs are new,I do not run ethanol fuel,I have a water separator. When it cranks first time but firewall files fine.wide open runs great..just have a hard time on a restart.and when it does restart it smokes like it is a coldstart .I have 150 top cylinder and 130 psi on bottom cylinder...could the fuel separator be the problem and just a simple replace?

You can change it and I hate to be the one to say it but here it is. Your bottom cylinder has less compression than the top which means it's wearing faster. Your are probably passing a little oil and it's gumming up your bottom spark plug. Pull your plugs and clean them, run your motor and let it set pull your plugs again, you should visually see the difference in the top and bottom plug. The bottom plug should be black Maybee even wet. Short of major engine repair on your block, (which will be more money than it's worth) run it till it dies jmho.
