Timkin USA bearings- do not use bearings with metal made from China....

Been a while since I asked the question of where to buy Timken bearings. FYI went to Napa in Bartlett, TN today to get some Timken's and they didn't carry them. Went to CarQuest, they carry a brand named National. Found some at Union Auto Parts, but had to order them from the warehouse to hopefully be picked up tomorow!
Also use CR or National seals.

Hey guys WTF? Looking at my Timkens I picked up today, and the grease seals say Made In Tiawan. The bearings do not say, but they don't say made in USA either. Went to there website and I could find no mention of being made in the USA. Anybody know? I got the Timkens because they were what was recomended on here.
Just like anything else companies are located overseas as well. Timkin USA are now made in Torrington since they are closing their Ohio plant. They also have ones made in Poland china India and a few others, each bearing is stamped where it was made, look for the ones stamped made in the USA. As far as the seals are concerned I use the Skf seals from Napa auto that are made in the USA. Hope this helps your confusion....

Think I should return the seals and buy the SKF brand? I paid premium price for these parts, I want good stuff!
One of the seals has made in Taiwan as pictured, and the other says made in Singapore! One is red the other is gold.
I'm not saying you don't have quality parts, Timkin claims all their plants where ever they are made use the same quality standards. I use the ones stamped made in the USA and use SKF seals also made here in the U.S. and have never had a problem. Someone else may have a different opinion I just know what works for me....
