    Default rainy fishing

I went with my buddy that lets me and my son hunt on his spot to try out his new motor. We did some fishing while test running the motor and had a slow but steady pick on crappie then ran down the river to a spot we used to catch yellow perch and gott em fast lots of double headers for about an hour then tide stopped so did the perch waited to see if they bite on incoming tide not a 1 . went back up got a few more crappie,I kept a handfull of each for a supper he kept the rest didnt have camera with me. The perch ranged from 6" to 12" crappie were 10"to 11" yellows were in 12ft of water crappie were in wood cover 8ft wt was a chilly 38,heres the few I kept .Oh yea the new 25hp yamaha ran my friends boat real nice.Name: 100_1319.jpg

Nice mess of fish. I caught a few YP, crappie and pickeral this past Sat. I has been raw out for sure. I have been carrying a thermometer with me too this spring. Last Friday water was 44 and on Saturday it was 42 F.
