Thread: Luck of the Irish

Went back out yesterday morn at 1st light where we left off fri night it was pea soup foggy but the fish were chompin again . Had some real luck today besides the catching , while reeling a fish in I layed another rod down carelessly and my dog came back to check out what I was catching and bumped the rod overboard , lucky for me that rod had a bobber on it after I realized what happened then I looked back the bobber was there on top I went back got the bobber pulled all the line and up came the rod real lucky! As far as the fishing goes it was good too ended up catching 47 crappie 7 yellow perch 2 pickeral water temp was 59 . My dog had a talk with an otter , the otter was snorting at us which they often do and my dog was giving it a half bark sorta snort back pretty funny.Heres the ones I put in the live well for a fish fry , released many egg laiden females this trip too.

Fish have loads of good color.
