Thread: Finally got some keeper Flatties!

Tear em up called me early saturday and I met him at the ramp around 6 45 to try for some more flounder. We got our around 7 and pretty much started catchin fish right away, but no legal 18" ers. Then about an hour into it I caught one that was 19", so our 1st keeper in 3 trips, Whoppe!!
Well we moved further up to where all the charter boats are and did good there and then in one small area we caught another 3 legal fish in about 3 minutes, we thought oh boy here we go to catch out first limit of 4 fish each in a long time, but wrong that was it we caught many more shorts and called it around 12 with 33 fish total. Most we caught on jig heads with a chart gulp and tipped with shiners or bull minnows. Lots of fun and nice to get a dinner or two out of it too!
Oh yeah heres a pic of Tear em ups new pup baylee with her 1st exposure to a slimmey fish, not a great deal of excitment on her part but she will have plenty more to play with over the years.
