    Default More Crabbies, no Crappies

met tear em up around 7 am while he was getting his new trotline with snuse lines on it ready and we got rollin around 9 30 and headed south. In the water around 11 and out to set the line. did good 1st run 20, 2nd 16 and 3rd 11, so great start. took us about 3 1/2 hours and almost had our 2 bushels, would of if the thunder didnt run us off the water.
the snuse lines worked great although tear em up was learning a whole new talent netting the crabs since you want to avoid getting the net hung up in the snuse line, which happend and ended up with a broken roller which ive never seen happen before, but now i know why he always carrys and extra one. tear em up was not very happy with that little mishap but i think might have learned a thing or two from it.
so a good day went home and got to steaming and cleaning stuff up and just got home around 11 pm after a long day but with a belly full of crab. might not be in too good of shape tomarro since i also had a little mishap, when tear em up was parking the rig i always try to get the boat ready and get in and fix the antena and start the motor and such. well when i went to get in the boat today i slipped on the floor of the boat and bounced off the gunnell a couple of times and ended up flat on my back in the bottom of the boat, some unexpected gymnastics, but we got er done. just popped to big prescription ibuprophens, hope to get a good nights sleep.
heres a nice pic of tearem up takin care of business, great day over all and im sure many more to come this summer!

Yes it is definantly different dipping with the snood lines but I think the line worked pretty good . All 1200 ft. came in and out of the barrel good even with all the snood lines on it.
