    That fish looks like a black crappie to me? Did it weigh 4 pounds 5 ounces or 4 and one-half pounds? Look at this:

    "The current IGFA world record for black crappie is 4-pounds 8-ounces. That fish was caught at Kerr Lake in Virginia."

    If you didn't tie the record you were darn close! Congrats again.

    Why is it every time I go out and catch a big fish someone has to deflate my ego by showing a bigger one. I had two nice hogs over 2 lb yesterday, great catch cruise

    Nice catch. I have caught 16 1/2 inch and 16 3/4 inch sac-a-lait several times, but never put them on a scale. Looks like i will have to invest in a good scale.
