If they ever stop making crappie nibbles, I'm gonna be in a world of hurt LOL! I always use the sparkle ones - neon chartreuse or gold rush. I usually stock up on them at Bass Pro.

An eight year old thread that still can help people catch fish. I never leave home without my nibbles.

I've been using them since they came out. (which had to have been well over twenty years ago) This year talking to a lot of crappie fishermen, I was amazed at how many of them used the crappie nibbles. Some of the anglers I talked to go through them by the case in an average year.

I just use them inside of the tube. I have a bait pump injector just for this purpose. Here is an old thread on using crappie nibbles. http://www.crappie.com/crappie/main-...bble-tips.html

I will not jig fish without them. 100% they help a lot.

Totally over rated in my book. If it boosts your confidence then by all means use them. I don't feel the need when jig fishing for anything to build my confidence. I bet there are few on my home lake that vertically jigs that catches more Crappie and I refuse to be a believer.

Use to use them but don't anymore and still catch plenty of fish, I cant tell any difference, but like Nimrod said its a confidence thing I think, but I'm subject to change my mind.

Anything for a scent cloud or tail......I can fallow a bacon tail or run and hide if the scent smells like cabbage cooking.Fish can smell, hear, feel and see like most of us......when.the bite gets tuff I go to my scents, sprays, nibbles and kevin v. Dam has saved the day...like some of you want leave home without them.If your fishing a brush pile and know fish are there and not biting throw some nibbles in it..
