Thanks Taz. I can see it being a big help in marking stuff when the water is down.

Alright already! You've got me convinced I need one of these things. Too many times when I'm headed back from fishing I'll pass over some kind of structure in the water and my finder starts sounding off, but I can't because I've gotta get back. Maybe with one of these things I'll be able to mark the spot for the next time I'm out.

As soon as I explained to my wife how one of these things might help me when I'm fishing she rolled her eyes up into her head. What does that mean?

Mike, we need to get out to Culver on Lake Max and I'll show you just what the GPS is good for. There are about 15-20 underwater islands in that lake of 2000 acres. You can go from 80 feet deep to 10 feet deep in a distance of 25 yards. Thats the 25 yards of lake you need to fish. I just bought the Lowrance 3500c GPS mapping unit. Boy is that sucker nice..............
