    Default New Guy needs help

    Hi y'all,

I'm new to Mississippi (stennis lock and dam/Columbus lake area) and I want to take up fishing in this beautiful country-side (I'm from the desert). I don't know a whole lot, but I've heard the crappie fishing is pretty good. I'd appreciate any tips and tricks you might have for me!

Welcome from Alabama. Search different threads in this forum and also in the archives. You will find a wealth of information.
