Good for you for making them take care of it Cane Pole. I'm not sure I could have let them take it away once I had it at my house. I'd be like a little kid with a new toy. Just give me something off it and we'll call it even. Glad to see you have more resolve than I do. I hope they take your trouble and inconvenience into consideration when they finally get it back to you. Tell 'em to give you front and console Humminbird SI units and software for your patience. I believe I would have asked for a loaner boat. Surely the factory could come up with something for you to borrow since they screwed up.

Makes you wonder what happened to American quality??? People are getting to where they don't take pride in their work and it shows in the products that we buy. I'm having some issues with that myself with my new home.

I still got my Hummer, Rhino, pontoon, and yellow submarine. Now if I can find them. I got shot guns and assault rifles. We can dock shoot. May haveta shoot the doc too. My doc keeps finding ways to get my money. Boat dock is always broke. It always needing money. Might havta shoot it too.

OK OK I give up First U got me drooling all over puter with pretty boat picts & now U sending it back ????? But why? ready to pull my hair out, but can't find any.. U mean just cause its dirty, why can't dealer drive up & vacuum it out. How many weeks ?? are they going to pay U interest on $ purchase for those weeks-either that or- when they bring it back maybe should bring a 2nd one for wife.....but from a different factory.....

War Eagle will pick the boat up tomorrow. They wanna take a look at it at the factory since no one wants to fess up to the mess up. PR man said he would take care of me. That's ok, but old Tom ain't gonna drop no soap bars anytime soon.

They (boat folks) all were very courteous and understanding, and professional etc. I want get my new boat back for 3-4 weeks. Better now than later. I got the "ShiloRed" jinx for sure now.

So much for my plans for the time being.

can't blame you a bit. for a long time i'd just let it go and pretty much be resigned to the fact that people are just sorry sometimes. not any more. ain't nothing cheap these days and if i'm getting charged top dollar for something then dang it, it better be right.

I think they made your boat on a Friday afternoon or a Monday Morning after a hard weekend. There ain't no excuse for what they have done and how they are handling it. they should have a loaner that they can give you while they work on yours. If not a loaner, then a new one and just have to eat the engine hours. To be sure if they messed yours up, then they have done it to others. I would be mad as hell if they told me 3 weeks to a month for something that was their fault. Stick it to them CP, It's your turn and you have every right for the money you paid for it!CF
