We had a wonderful time, and perfect weather for both of our days of prefishing, and during the tournament too. We caught and released more than 500 10"+ fish during our 3 days of fishing. The Crappie were just beginning their Spawn cycle, and the water temperatures peaked at 66 degrees for the afternoon bite on T day. Just plain great fishing @ Twain!

Our total weight for 10 fish was 13.48lbs. 2nd place finished the day with 12.07lbs. We had 3 fish which any of the 3 would have won big fish award with their weights being 2.24, 1.97, and 1.89lbs. 2nd biggest fish from the rest of the field came in at 1.83lbs. I will Email some pics to Edhead of our top 3, and the winning stringer in the next few days.

We owe all ïf our success and thanks for this event to our sponsors and their products: OutLaw Crappie Poles, Crappie Magic Jigs, Fish Formula's Original Game scent, and Gotcha Gear. A very special thanks to God, for without him, none of this would of been possible.

Thanks for asking Ted! I hope to sell all of you at a CAST tournament in the future! Tell 'em big Tim sent yas!

Full baskets and big bites to all! <,"}/>{ Rippa

Thank you very much Rango!! Wish I were more computer savy. That big ugly Iowa Hawkeye fan is me The Rippa himself. This was taken after I just made it back home at 2:18am from the tournament. These were the 10 wining fish which had been on ice since around 5pm that day. So they may of shrunk a little, and I may have gotten a little uglier from earlier in the day when I had my team apparel on! LOL

Whompass - I might be fishing at Ft Gibson again this coming Fall. I'll look you up if I do. I don't get a chance to fish locally too often, but when I do, it is usually the Mississippi River, Lake Geode, Lake Rathbun, or Snake Den Hollow in IL. And yes... GO HAWKS!!! :o

Thanks GABoy. Not quite the monsters that are common in the South, but they were definitely some footballs. I couldn't get over how much they weighed for how short on length they were. The 2.24 was right around 15 1/2" mark, and her buddies were near the same length too.

Thanks again Rango! You're a great guy for helping me share!

Tim, Some nice looking fish there, glad that you got on them like you did. You defiantly showed proof to back up the pudding there! Good job there again.

I assume that you used or Tim used a digital camera. But is it possible to use a film camera and then digitize the picture for the web off the film or the prints.

I may get my Pentax LX camera back out and put new batteries in it for the trip to KY Lake tomorrow. But it will depend on how much room I have in my truck and if it supposed to storm Wed Afternoon or Thursday.
Moose i use F100 nikons with SB28 flashes. but i dint take tims . tim sent em to me in email to post for him. all i had to do with the photos was post em on the board. he gets the credit for them. . i dont use or have a digital camera. im winding down my photo career and probably wont buy one for my photo work. the pro models are fairly expensive and i dont get many requests yet to shoot something in digital. I dont know if tim used digital or film. about the only thing a photog can do to screw up a photo is over or underexpose a photo or have it out of focus. colors, skin tones, tints and all that can be blamed on the lab processing em. i shoot a lot of weddings and theres many ways to do it. on one recently i had a girl that wanted me to shoot her wedding and give her the film at the end of the day. she was trying to save some money. i like doing them kind cause the money is up front and the work is done when i walk away from it. i cautioned her about using a good lab. well she called me in a couple weeks complaining about the quality of the photos. i asked her what was the problem and she was complaiing about her dress being different colors, and skin tones way off. immediately i knew the problem and told her that was the labs fault. she wanted to disagree and i told her, let me have the negs of the worst roll you have and ill see what i can do. well anywya i sent the negs to a quality lab and they was perfect. she was impressed and asked if i would have all her prints done. i done it but it was much more expensive to have reprints done than the orginals. once the negs are cut and sleeved its expensive to have reprints done, especially in a quality lab. so her wedding wound up costing her much more than it would have if id done the whole thing. people never learn. if you know you cant do better, then its best to let someone who can do it for you.. youll come out better in the long run.

Moose, it was a digital Cannon. My sister-in-law brightened the pics up a little in photo shop too. And yes, most of these fish were females. We only target males to get our 1st ten. We then go looking to improve upon their weights by hunting for the egg laiden females. We did manage to eliminate most of the males from our 10 as you can tell.

Gar-Getter thank you. It was a great day for us!
