Well I do my best to not have a Sig that is over done and still have the links in it that show the guides I co-op with. I also try my best to keep the picks small yet visible of my business card and one jig or fly to show case. Please believe me I make mine as small and clear as i can with out intruding or at least that is my intention.

I see some that I feel are over done for sure and I believe that actually doesn't help them as much as it hurts.

I hope mine is not too gaudy nor unpleasant to look at. If I offend anyone please accept my apology.

Well, I hope no one is upset with me. I was just venting. Some may have misinterpreted what I was saying. I don't mind pictures in the posts. I love them. And I love to post them. It's just the signatures that have bothered me (and after a good night's sleep it seems less important that it did). I agree with those that don't have a problem with Ads relating to fishing. I just don't like those that go and on.

I tried not to point fingers at anyone in particular but some may have taken it too personally anyway. Sorry. I promise I don't have any hidden agenda or ulterior motive. I just had to pass a little gas on the subject. Made feel better to get it out, but oh, what a stink!!! Wish I had a dog to blame it on.:D

If I have offended anyone, accept my apology also. My signature is my business card. This is a great site and I have met some nice and memorable people because their signature caught my eye.

No Problem here and as a matter of fact I was hesitant in putting both my card and a pic on my Sig, but I tried it and now have removed my card. I think I was just proud of the card and wanted to show it off, LOL!

I list 2 guides as part of my Pro Staff and both are crappie guides and good ones at that! So I leave them on there in hopes of adding to their business and also hoping they in turn tell their customers about my jigs. Lord knows I can use more orders. It's not like I have too many orders, LOL!

If i didn't enjoy tying so much I would quit and have thought about it, but I do enjoy it too much to stop until I have to for what ever reason. Other than being disabled I have developed cataracts and will need surgery at some point so I guess that could stop me if things don't go well.

Anyway if anything I put in my Sig bothers anyone please let me know so I can take a look at it.

Thanks for all the support I have received here about my son and the business I receive through his site. What a great site!

    Okay guys and gals,

One final post on this for me. First, I thank you all for putting up with my venting:rolleyes: , and I appreciate those who cared enough to try to accommodate my point of view, even though you didn't have to. And thanks to those who didn't blast me for posting my opinion. You guys are great!

I will say also that I appreciate all those who participate on these forums. There is a lot of great information and insights into crappie habits and techniques used to catch them. Thanks to all the big names in the business, the guides, pros, equipment manufacturers, lure makers, etc. that offer their expertise, experience and equipment to the rest of us. Finding Crappie.com has been both educational and fun. It is a nice community to be in.

    Let's go fishing.:p
