    Default Traveling extra light

This is me , one jig or 2 and an extra float or 2 .....
only my rod in hand and typically nothing else .....
no stringer or bucket in most cases even if I intend to keep some .....
When it isn't hot ,the grassy knoll is my stringer .....
and when you selfie up . its one per finger .....
thumbs are needed for the rod ....so its 4 to a selfie ....
    just fyi

My wife looks at me like I am crazy when I go to Vegas for 3 days and only carry a small back pack. I only need shorts and T-shirts and refused to pay an additional $80 for luggage. She still packs like she is going to europe for two weeks.

I would be willing to bet 99% of fishermen carry way more tackle in their boats than I do. Just 2 poles and handful of jigs. Most people have fell prey to tackle salesmen telling them they need a zillion baits .

Nothing wrong with traveling lite, especially on a stream. It’s surprising how little stuff you need for a fun afternoon.
