Strange cause I seldom ever change colors . Even tried using trash on jig heads and always catch fish . I drop right on them with livescope . Years ago I remember my son and I used different colors . He caught more fish on one top then me the next . I still believe presentation is biggest factor. Used to use mostly purple/ chartreuse tubes no matter water color. Certain times used a orange/chartreuse in bigger size cause they did not make the purple/chartreuse in bigger baits . This year except for experimenting with trash jigs I been using hand ties. Not changing color from winter to post spawn catching limits like clock work .

The trash caught fish just as good and proved it before. Took Fancy Seats with me a few weeks back . He used tube jigs and I used the trash . Changed baits every couple fish just to prove presentation means more than bait .

Posted on facebook about catching Crappie of a sliver of Banna Peel. One guy said he did not believe it. I asked if that was a challenge or did he want to make a wager. He would not bite but the Crappie do . Walmart sack tied on a jighead with red thread worked just fine too .

NIMROD, l noticed, your pictures show a white crappie. Do you catch mostly white crappie where you fish. We only catch black crappie here. Have heard they are a bit more aggressive than black crappie but never caught any. Don
