    Default For you spider riggers

I was talking to Ed (Slab) this afternoon and he suggested I repost this on the main fishing forum rather than just on the Missouri page.
The last time I bought rigging rods I noticed that the foam handles were starting to get pitted. I went on line and looked for large size shrink wrap to put on the handles. When I found it low and behold it comes in multiple colors from Mud Hole Tackle. You have to know the diameter of the largest point on the handles and the wraps are designated in metric size. Then you cut to fit with scissors, slide over the handle and shrink with a heat gun. These wear like iron are easy to grab even when wet and you get the added benefit of being able to call the rod being hit by color.Name: IMG_2016.jpg

I've used the black in the past. Tough stuff. Nice job on the rods.

Some of my rods are foam with cork veneer and the cork doesn’t hold up. This stuff solves the problem and is way tougher than I thought it would be.
