Sorry Eric, I know you were looking forward to fixing it up.
Or, Sometimes, Life Gets In The Way, Maybe Not What The Man Upstairs Wants For You. Either way, Put my boat project on Marketplace. Looks like I won't be needing it with Ms. Joyces condition. Maybe a blow-up pontoon for short excursions of a couple hrs. Be cheaper to get one of them than fix the project anyway. Another, better boat down the line.

Sir, I know the disappointment punting on a dream project but I submit it is for the best. Hulls will get real cheap soon, My Ross Barnett boat will be replaced by the Champion I have mothballed and when I let the RB boat go it will be very cheap. I have caught north of 50K Crappie in it not counting the thousands of saltwater fish. The Black and Green boat build you know is a identical hull but I won't put that much effort into another. That's why the Sheeter is here, traded a couple of tiller outboards for it. It's solid, just need cosmetics not a cap pulled to fully rebuild. Fine you something short & wide out of Glass for the best overall comfort.

I sure hope my friend, but the future isn't looking real bright till someone figures out a cure. On the bright side, we learned the medical name for some timers. You know, sometime you remember, sometimes (most times) you forget. Well, that's one of the things that's happening all too often here lately with Ms Joyce. Forgetting not just recent things, but things she should be remembering from the distant past. Getting real scarry...

Prayers sent. I hope you enjoy your blow up pontoon. I have looked at them for shooting docks.

Thank you for the info Rojo. Everything is going to be around how momma, my better half aka Ms Joyce, progresses with this. I will keep all this in mind. One reason I got this boat was it is short and wide. 16' Tri-Hull Bass boat. wasn't over powered having that 65hp on the back. I don't need the speed facter at my age, besides my back is done with all the sudden jarring shocks. Too many miles in a big truck bouncing down the road with a tore up L-4 and L-5 discs. Just need enough to get on plane and ride comfortable, not so much speed.

I will add yall to our prayer list. I am in a similar situation with my wife. Memory issues that the drs think could be alzheimer’s but no markers for it in a spinal tap, but ms markers found. Whatever it is I have been making life changes in the last year and half preparing to care for her in the future. Not getting to fish like I had planned in retirement , but I am blessed. Lean on God and let Him carry you all through.
