    Cabelas

    You can do much better than that. I would go with the LVS32 over the LVS34 unless you fish really deep water or you need to scan out more than 50ft away. That will save you $500. Bass Pro/Cabelas lithium batteries are overpriced. You can get a Amped Outdoors/Dakota and few others for much cheaper with a better warranty. Depending on what size battery you get you should be able to get a Livescope setup for less than $2000.

    I would go as follows.

    Livescope LVS32 $999 Bass Pro Shops
    Garmin UHD 93SV $649.97 Bass Pro Shops
    30AH lithium Battery & charger $219.98 Amped Outdoors

    $ 1,868.95

    You can build your own pole or buy one for around $200

    I fish out of a stick steer, a 10 inch is about as large and you can mount and keep it out of your way fishing. Fishing out of a stick steer you will only need one unit. I found a mount that would go on the side of the boat. I have the 54 tranducer it will read bottom at 30mph. My first unit was a 9 inch with 52 transducer I like the upgrade. If you could see one mouned it would help a lot, good luck

    Only thing i would really do different then grainraiser is to buy a 10" graph. I have the echomap uhd 93 sv & it works great but a bigger screen would sure be nice & easier on the eyes too. You'll definitely never regret buying the biggest graph you can afford when using it for livescope. You can make a pvc pole cheap & either use a ram mount to mount it or a bench top bicycle repair stand from amazon if you don't want to spend around $300.00 for a pole for it.

    I prefer a 10 inch screen over the 9. Advantages for me are.
    1. Pixel count/resulution is higher on the 10. For livscope only, I don't think it makes that much difference, as resolution on livescope isn't that high. Probably more difference on side and down view.
    2. 10 inch does give a little larger screen if you run a split screen. Even on a 10 I rarely run a split screen. Especially for livescope. If I do run a split screen it is usually maps and side scan at my tiller motor. At the bow I have a 10 and 12. Though two 10s would suit me fine.
    3. The cradle system is much better on the 10 and 12 inch screen than on the 9. My screens stay mounted on the boat all the time, even when trailering. I have them mounted on RAM mounts I just put the covers on lay them flat to the deck and tighten mount again. Boat is stored I side when I get home.

    Check out Lowrance Active Target, you could buy a HDS 9 Live and Active Target 1 and be out less than $2k, another option.

    I ended up getting a GPSMap 943XSV and LVS 34. Also run a Striker 9SV.

    I run a tiller V hull aluminum and am usually seated, fish finders are pretty close to me. The GPSMap 943XSV is a serious machine - metal vs plastic on the others I have and had.
