Fished today on Bayou Lacombe. Launched at 1:30 and back on the trailer by 3. Ended up with 7 Sacalait and a couple of large mouth bass. All fish caught on Itty Bitty Bobby G 1/64 jig. Interesting thing was Monday on the same bayou all fish were caught in side canals which were 4 degrees warmer than the main bayou. Today all fish caught on the main bayou which was 3 degrees warmer than the side canals. Lesson learned fish the warmer water to catch fish.

My grandson Austin is out of commission for a while. He broke his collar bone playing in a school soccer game and is scheduled for surgery Friday morning because it is broken into 2 pieces and requires a metal plate installation. Keep him in your prayers as he is not looking forward to his first surgery Friday or his second in 3 months when they go back in to remove the plate. Thanks.

    Bon Temps!!

Glad you catch on fast. We will be keeping thoughts for your grandson my friend. I started to see if you wanted to go yesterday but thought better with the 2 very cold nights we had. Glad I didn't call with 52 degree water the fish leave for the main river and deep water.

I have never seen a collarbone broken in two places. My brother broke his twice a year apart when we were teenagers. Prayers out to grandson for a speedy recovery.
