Default Some folks specialize in ketchn crappie

Some not so much , some are full time at it and some just play with them .
I find myself in the middle of said pack of crappie chasers , sometimes I specialize at it full time and then sometimes I just play with them ......
Well I stumbled into downtown yesterday , sun to my back and strolled down said street for the gunfight at high noon
Fishes was wishing they stayed off the street , put lead holes all in the poor fisheez lips I did ....
had to reload several times as they seemed to want to play gunfighter for a good while .....
4 to 5 foot under a float was the ticket and I ran tandems side by side guns due to the amount of gangsters wanting to throw down with me .....
was it legendary you might ask , some might say yes and some not so much ...
BUT for darn sure the KABOOM part was hard on the ears , man did I sling them leads yawl
MAN are they fat and to be sure some would think it's a fall spawn , many of the fish would hammer right before you pulled up to cast again 3 foot from the bank , and the bellies on some of them would make a person say full of eggs .
But the wise guy would have seen the water just BOILING with fish on the surface and shad flying in every direction!
I am here to tell ya this about that , when that occurred upon my arrival , I knew full well that .....
me wasn't gunna need no boat , long rod, electronics or live minners to get it done ....
ran a 7 footer medium weight with 6 pound test and a shimano , tandem 1/32 with sparkly baits on them .
tried a chart a bit and it wasn't the ticket , natural colors with lots of sparkles was the caliber of choice ....
AND THEN this ,,,,,several got air and the pull in them river fish was just PHENOMINAL !
they sure enough did not want me to hold them ....positive on that part ....
and then ....as it often happens ,,,,back to the water them fish went and back to work went me ...
KABOOM is the word ladies and gents ....
p.s. due to a lack of wanting to see my mug on here , I thought it would be nice to plant a happy heart faced emoji on the image .....just saying

Those crappie look stuffed as a Thanksgiving turkey. Everyone one got several shad in their belly and still want more and you keep slipping them some fake ones.
