    Default COLD front ketchn

A nice norther blew in and we dropped to 99 .....
in this part of the world that is really nice this time of year
for several weeks 107 to 110 has been the norm for a high temp.
went for a 300 yard ride to the river a bit early in the day at about 11 am
sure was pleasant in the shade down there for a change.
fish were less than cooperative though for the most part and the bites were super duper light playful pecking and such.
Could NOT get them to EVEN touch the little orange bait they seemed to love earlier in my visits
did have one nice bite I missed on a pink larger bait .....
bought said oh well and then .....
went to really small light as a feather in a purple head white body handtie
Kammenced to KABOOM shortly thereafter .....
the bluegill drove me crazier than normal though , but some really pretty fish played let's get ketched as well ....
5 foot deep in what I think is about 8 to 9 foot of water ....gin clear
good stuff for sure , sure thought the bass was a monster crappie , never jumped and dogged like a big crappie , did ketch a really nice white though for down there and had what would be considered by most to be a great water visit.
not complaining is me for sure ...
summer time banking is tricky business
    and KABOOM is the word

I remember them and seeing them in the little bags. Good stuff, wish he would tie more. Using all plastics now mostly.

Us actual Texas folks look at the drop in temperatures as something that occurs when we are tired of the normal temperature and consider a drop of 10 degrees a blue norther .....

it was in upper 70's and 80's here in STL area and was really pleasant. Not what we are used to. but wait, upper 90's for the weekend and next week. That's normal.
