    I talked before I have even seen one, it looked like a tubular piece of metallic material that has a plastic cover on back. So I really don’t know. Sorry if I affented you.

    No not at all. Unless someone has seen one you couldn’t know. Very unique design and I thought twice before I first used it. I only use 2-3 pound test line and it was designed for crappie guys who use much bigger line than that. I was worried that it would abrade my thin line. But so far that has not been the case.
