    Default MIGHT make 500 .....

seems like I am loosing a step or 2 , might make it to 500 crappie this month if I can figure out a way to handle this here heat .....
the up over a 100 degrees makes it sure enough pretty much less interesting to go ketchn very quickly , just saying
used to just go ketchn midday in this heat 10 years ago , big straw cowboy hat lots of water and hit the timber lines ....we did it often and my numbers stayed way up there in the twice or more what I been on lately ....
sorry for my lack of hammering them in this heat , but it isnt like I dont want to , my body says stop it and my mind says lets do it .....confusion reigns ....
there is always the night thing, but I would rather sleep and then there is always the early morning thing but again I would rather sleep .....
no worries though , the fish are waiting for me to ketch them , I just got to be motivated to go do it in the heat .....
    369 and counting ,,,,,,come on 500 .....
    KABOOM is near ....
sum kawl me tha outlaw ketchn whales

Find a covered dock or slip in under a bridge….but I’m like you. I retreat from the heat!

Heat I can usually tolerate. Heat + humidity like where I live in SC- NO NO NO! 40 years ago, I didn't give it a thought.
    Now- Come on Fall!

I don't fish near as much as I used to . I used to think I probably broke 10k a year . My calendar shows over 3k already this year . Figure numbers will go up atleast till hunting season . Our Urban Bow Hunting season for Deer starts Sept 1.

I’m nowhere ready for fall, but we do hunker down in this weather.

I agree with you fellows about the heat, expecially in Georgia, I retired thinking I was gonna hammer them crappies, but as the 100 degree temps come, now it only twice a week. Looking for cooler weather, or some rainy days with no lighting and thunder storms, wind and so forth. It just seems like some day I look for reasons not to go, just saying, like the heat does something to my peabrain.

These are all reasons I go early and quit when it gets hot or traffic gets up. I’m guessing some of my meds don’t like the heat cuz I sweat hard and then I’m done. I too am less daring than I used to be. Wife and I both agreed a few days ago that we both think like we’re 35 but we sure dont move that well anymore.
