Always good to get out and enjoy the water. Sure beats a skunk or working
Well I did get to the lake today. Didn't do real good, but not a skunk either. 1st one that took the skunk away was as Ketchn calls them, a fish chip...lol that's what I called it too when I realized what engulfed my jig...Then it was very sparatic for a couple of hours with me getting only three more. I took 20 or more plastics of varying colors from light to dark as well as some of those fake fishes like in the gills mouth... but after about 9 am, it didn't matter what you put in their face the didn't want nothing to do with it. Stayed to about 12 noon, had a couple sausages I brought and packed it in.

Jack I'll agree. Compared to my last few months. yes sir. Though it was hot, and only a couple fish, I did enjoy it. A bit of a drive, but enjoyed that too. May try a spot I hit a year or so ago. No docks, and it's bank fishin' but It's a nice spot, and a bit closer on the same lake. Just have to see when I go...

Good job Eric, both the fish and the floor. I did floors for a while in my twenties and it ain’t no fun. And no, this old stuff ain’t for sissies.

Wife said last night. I have a water heater box. I need a ticket booth for VBS. No fishing for me.
She sent me a Pintrest image of what she wanted it to look like. I am tired, sunburnt. She is happy as a clam. Missoni accomplished. I will find some time to fish when it is all done
