I fish alone and I enjoy it that way. It’s therapeutic for me to get out alone with no distractions.

I fish alone most of the time. Strictly bank fish or wade the last five years. Have one friend I fish with a half dozen times a year and that's it. I am very social and love talking with others when I'm out. I get really excited talking about fishing and share too much information at times. Some small lakes can't handle a ton of fishing pressure and get fished down quickly, so I need to keep my mouth shut. Except when I'm by myself, then I can talk all I want.

My theme song Hopefully George Thorogood won’t be too upset

    I FISH ALONE

    (Chorus)

    I FISH alone
    Yeah, with nobody else
Yeah, you know, when I FISH alone prefer to be by myself

    (verse 1)
Now, every morning, just before sunrise
Just give me some coffee don't want no tea
Just me and my tin boat steed
    Is all I ever need

    (verse 2)
The other night I was a sleepin'
And I had a terrible dream
I was a fishin' for crappie
But all I caught was a bream

    Verse 3
The other day I was invited to fish with some pals
But I stayed in my little tin boat.
With my crappie rod and his pal Blue Ice.
I fished alone and it was NICE!

    Verse 4
Now my friends and family done give up

But I don’t fell like maybe I oughta
Cause there is one who loves to hang with me
    My dear sweet Daughter!

    And we fish alone

Catch all you can when you can!
An old man in his old boat having fun!
FISHING REPORT: ‹Caught two docks, 3 trees and a stump- threw them back!

I have a buddy that we fish together regularly but him being a lineman is gone a lot working storms so i have no problem whatsoever going alone. I went yesterday for awhile & was the only boat on the lake. Only caught a hand full of very small dinks too.

I fish along 99% of the time. I am always on the water before the sun rises and I the boat is back on the trailer my noon typically. I will fish for anything that bites. What I love most is fishing at night. Either tying up to a bridge column or drift fishing for catfish on a moon lit night is undefeated.

Man when you are retired and all your friends are still working, if you wanna go fishing you have to fish alone or stay home.

I fish out of a yak and like fishing places boats can’t get to. That often takes a lot of work so normally by myself. Also fish year round and most folks are out on that. Don’t mind fishing with anyone but apparently I’m not a likable person and I work to hard at it. Lol
