Awesome, sounds like a wonderful trip.
Today for the first time I caught my limit of crappie with my livescope, 30 crappie is the limit in Georgia even had at least 3 over 2 pounds. I even saw some crappie on my screen that was actually bigger than my jig, if you can believe it. To every one on this forum that helped me learn this new toy I appreciate it and thank you.

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass alongDanny Lang thanked you for this post
Thank you fellows, never though it was gonna come this quick, it was not easy. Most think that you put livescope on your boat, and when you put the boat in the water the fish just jump in the livewell. I just wish it was that easy.
Super awesome that you’re getting the hang of it and finding success

Can't agree more. Got Live Scope last August and am now just getting to the point where I am confident that if there are fish wanting to play I am going to find and snag them. After MANY MANY hours of honing my techniques and tuning in my live scope settings I am returning to the dock with fish while others are not. Things like the right positioning of the boat, accounting for wind and tidal movement, how far off the fish to stop and to be able to recognize the size of the fish and when they just are not bitting.
I see guys at the launch with those big fancy $50,000 bass boats decked out with all the latest equipment and their 12" to 20" screens and they haven't put in the TIME ON THE WATER so they dont catch fish.
Practice, Practice Practice so that when the timing is right you can have an EPIC day. I just had mine this week. Didn't bring an ice chest cause I had never hammered them before and my live well got to full so I had to stop fishing. Left them bitting. What a feeling of accomplishment. Thanks to Cajun Ray and Going Catching for mentoring me in my newest passion in life. Sacalait Fishing !!
Bon Temps!!
Congratulations, a limit is an accomplishment to be sure. I’ve yet to get a limit and been at it a couple years. Enjoy!
