Dock shooting rod choices

I'm on team sharpshooter 6! I now have 3 of em and they go every time I'm targeting crappie. I also have a wally marshall 7' and it's ok too. The All star that was mentioned is really good too but not tough. I broke mine when it contacted a pontoon frame during a "shot"
I guess sometimes you need to think before you act!

Look at the Pro Angler Tackle 6 footer. I now use a MHX 6' fast action- light dock skipping blank with a custom ice reel seat.

Had the Acc broom stick ! Didn’t like it at all ! Every one has their own liking but the Wally Marshall speed shooter in 7’ is my favorite go to I have 3-4 on deck at all times !

I have the BnM Sharpshooter Six and Wally Marshall Speed Shooter rods. I love the BnM rod the best for dock shooting. I understand about the endless quest for something else. Sometimes ignorance is bliss…..lol.

AND saves you a lot of money!!

I’ve been known to shoot with whatever is in my hand when the shot shows itself. The only rods I’ve ever broken shooting docks and stuff are two Berkeley cherrywoods. I leave em in the store now.

I’ve got several rods that will work fine for dock shooting but I end up with a 5’ Micro Lite Ugly Stick in my hand.
