I have never gotten good at going around the ribs on crappie. I do on cats

I like to eat the smaller fish 8 inchers or so. Fry them fishes crunchy, and go to town, but if you give me a piece of bigger fish fried I would not turn it down….

Get ya an electric Bubba or the new HD Rapala and those knives will zip thru those rib bones FAST, even on the 2 lbers. Both knives are sorta expensive but they speed up your fish cleaning time to about half. Gotta admit I dont have the Bubba but I do own the Heavy Duty Rapala (corded model) and it runs circles around the Mr. Fisherman and American Angler electric knives I've owned in the past.
Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in hospitals dying of nothing.
