Have my pvc pole mounted to a ram mount. I just lay it on the deck when traveling. Just tight down the ram mount , it stays put .

I have a large ram mounts (c I think) that I can tighten with it off of the deck and it doesn’t move.

My pvc pole is mounted in a bench mount bicycle repair stand. I just swing it back & lay it on the front deck.

Awesome. Thanks everyone... I'm hoping i can fabricate some kind of a way to lock my pole/transducer in the boat while at home or while camping... Do any of you lock your pole in your boat in some fashion?

Locks will only stop honest people. The transducer probably isnt what they are after anyways, especially if your cables are ran down into the boat somewhere to the black box. If your black box is exposed, just unhook the ducer and toss the pole/ducer in your truck until you get to the lake.

I store my boat outside so I never leave my transducer or electronics in my boat. You have to be houdini to get to my black box. My transducer pole is mounted with a ram mount. I just untighten it and bring it in the house when not in use.

Mine is set up to where they would really have to work to get it off or cut the cable which renders it useless.
