Glad they seem to be fine. I would consider yourself one of the lucky ones…

The rod is still in that box. It’s where the ups truck driver left on my back porch.

If you order any from BPS/Cabela’s, they will ship it in a tube. Every rod I’ve gotten from them has come packaged extremely well.

I had a Wally Marshall rod that was delivered like that. Amazingly the rod was fine. Tubes work way better than boxes.

PO is hurting for help to deliver packages. Most likely a guy was toting that thing in a 4 door sedan and had to bend it to get it in the vehicle. He got paid either way.

If anybodys looking for a job they definitely hiring and it starts @ 20$/ + OT and mileage. Wifey drove for them for 3 months and was banking over 2grand a week. She got tired of the hours.

I’ve bought some KastKing Crixus rods that come from Amazon in a tube that’s in a box. No problems with that.

Ugly stick is the only rod my son didn’t break. From 5 to 20 years old he probably broke 10 rods. Now he buys his own. Thank goodness
Note - for best results buy rods from online tackle shops . They use heavy duty tubes.
