braid color & size?

I’m surprised a lot of y’all are staying with the small diameter braid. It drove me nuts.
I guess it’s a fishing style thing.
I pitch or vertical jig 95% of the time . Long pole. Stained water. I’ve gone to Hi vis 65 lb test to eliminate the rod tangles. Tied to a mono leader using the Alberto knot.

I've been using 40lb. j braid x 4 with a 10lb. mono leader on a rod that i'm strictly vertical jigging with. On rods that i've been a doing a combo of casting & some vertical jigging too i've been using 15lb hi viz yellow j braid x 4 & a 10 lb mono leader. I think i'll experiment some with color & line size on one rod to see if i can see a big enough difference to change one or both.
