    Tom,
That’s affirmative but 2 trolling motors.
Both on stern.. port and starboard
I have everything I need for install.
Just can’t stay off the water long enough to run the wiring to front for on off pedal switch.
Prop wash really spooks the fish from my Ultrex and also when chasing open water fish I will be able to stop or really slow down using the rear motors.
I need all the help I can get.
Lakes I fish are really clear compared to other areas of the USA.
At least that’s my plan!! Lol

    Default Livescope question

Believe it or not there is a company making a bracket or something that mounts the trolling motors to power poles.

I've seen those on YouTube down south. I guess the poles are good for shallow, the pair of trolling motors for deeper water?

Poles are to anchor the boat. But with TM attached it’s just easy way to deploy and raise them at the push of a button. But they have some flex to them. But I don’t think you can anchor the boat with the poles with tm installed. Plus the poles going down to stop you is like a stopping you with a stick. It’s going to drag a bit before digging in and then boat will spring back and rock back and forth a bit. So if you could stop right on then spring back and be too far for your pole length. Then you’d have pull them up a bit move forward a bit and re-anchor with them. And then some have the paddles on the poles to help control drift speed.

Ones I installed you have to manually lower into water. There’s a stomp switch to turn them on/off.

Wasnt this the whole idea of perspective mount?

My pole would bent backwards at 5mph. Even at 1.5-2 she is vibrating and moving. You would need to have someone turning the pole as you drive, scanning for marks.

And that is why I used an aluminum pole for my setup. It doesn't bend or move very much at all, at least not at the speeds my trolling motor can attain. The PVC wasn't bad, but this is much better.
Of course, a trolling motor mount would probably be best at speed

Not sure I understand the question
Perspective mount allows the transducer to be rotated up and sideways to give you a perspective view.
I personally didn’t care for it but I guess it is up to the user and method of fishing.

I almost went that route but then decided that a boat hook pole would be perfect, so I used that. Fits perfectly in the Minn Kota bracket, too. It is much more rigid than the 3/4" pole I have. Besides the larger diameter, I think it's a harder alloy, too. You can't bend that thing, at least not easily.
