I really like my ACC Crappie Stix. Nice and light good backbone.

I have a couple of Academy H20 Express Crappie rods. They were cheap ($19) and they were just fine for me. I typically fish around 3 to 4hrs a trip so arm fatigue has not been a issue. I will adivise not using a BnM 12 rear seat ultralight rod because they will break if boat flipping a heavy fish.

What I do with mine to help balance the rod is take washers and keep taping them onto the butt until it balances where I want it. I weight them on a scale match there weight with some lead, take a piece of tin foil form it to the butt of the rod. Put my lead in the form and melt it with a propane torch, once cool I use a piece of heat shrink tubing that fits over the rod butt cut long enough so that at least an inch or more covers the rod butt and a half inch over the lead, then heat to shrink and done.
