    Default Anybody know what these hooks or jigs are called?


    I saw some similar called weighted hooks,,,any specific name for these shaped jigs? Seems like brim or trout jigs,,,I painted them so color doesn’t account for anything….

    It's an ice fishing jig. I used to get them from Barlow's. Can't remember what they called them, maybe ant.

    Look like teardrop or rocker jigs for ice fishing.

    Janns Netcraft sells them under soldered ice fishing lures. They are banana panfish soldered jigs.

    I purchased some of these off EBay. I simply called teardrop jigs. The ones I purchased are small with size 12 hooks.

    I've always heard them called banana jigs myself.

    These bodies are what I used to get. They were just plain lead. It's been close to 30 years since I've tied jigs and I can't remember for sure if they came from Jann's or Barlow's.
