    I can always tell a crappie from either Maine or Florida because they have that perfect combination of gold and black.

    sure is pretty , one spot we hit has black crappie that are really pretty too , have not been there in a few years , but they look "almost" northern in coloration .

    Nice speck.. how deep was you fishing and what was water temp.. did you use live bait/minnow.. I live in central Florida and heading to Kissimmee mid week.. haven’t been to Kissimmee since hurricane went thru..
