Default Garmin 106 VS echomap 64cv

I have tried every thing and the 106 is no where near as clear or defined as my dash mounted 64cv.
I am disappointed its going back, I guess I just got a bad one because the 64 in my dash is everything you could want it just dont have side veiw, and the lake I fish in has no brush rock piles etc.but hundreds of docks.

1.3 mph transducer is the new 156 none of the images compare to the 6 inch cv in my dash .
In sunlite you caint even tell wheter you are in side veiw or clear veiw its terrible .
I adjust the gain left in auto same with contrast and brightness.

Might be a problem with the transducer.
give Garmin support a call and they’ll help you out.

    I don't know 'bout ya'll .... but, if I was primarily a dock shooter, I'd want a Livescope setup.
