    Default speaking of trolling motors

Who has the terrova in 24 volt? How do you like it? Is this not the cheapest option for a spotlock trolling motor?

I have the Terrova in 24v! I love it! Spot lock works great and it is simple to use! I have zero complaints about it!

I have had the powerdrive, terrova and now the ultrex. They are all good trolling motors,i prefer the ultrex though.Terrova is a pain to deploy, mount a transducer to the foot because how it deploys and the foot pedal is awkard, besides that it is a great trolling motor. The ultrex fixes all the problems i listed about the terrova. We you get ready to buy please consider performance fishing electronics, they are a board sponsor heres the number 7314418965,would love to earn your business, thanks

I had the 24v terrova for 4 years. It was easy to use, powerful enough to troll my 18.5' fiberglass boat for 6+ hours, spot lock and trails was good. I replaced it with a force to link to my Garmins. Issues were spot lock would have a hard time holding under a bridge, sometimes in really heavy current it would get hot and shut off all of the sudden. I think I could have fixed that with heavier gage wire and a better plug though.

No trolling motor will spot lock under a bridge. Can't get a signal.

Going on 5 years with a Terrova and zero problems. Foot peddle does take some getting use to. No problem deploying or storing. I use a Shuttleslide on mine.

I see a man would have to do a little work to get a transducer mounted on the motor but not a big deal. I'm thinking when i get one i may buy a terrova to save some money. I'm running a 2003 maxxum 70 pounder now that i've had rebuilt once so you know the terrova would be a cadillac compared to it. Thanks guys.

I like mine but I am changing to an Ultrex simply to mount a Mega 360.

All i have is a helix with si & di up front so i'd be fine with that. I have my livescope separate on a pole mount.

They are great trolling motors. Definately an upgrade from a Maxxum.
