Haven't used any. Let us know how it works for you
Was at my local Walmart today and saw a new line to me called J-Braid x4 anyone out there ever used it, it was $10 a spool, you can’t go wrong with that price. I bought some to try, sometimes it junk or a treasure, only time will tell. Looking to see if anyone out there has ever tried it. 20 lb test and looks like 4 lb diameter.

20# J Braidx4 is 6# test mono equivalent. The "x4" refers to the braid being 4 strand weave of Dyneema fibers. J Braid is a Daiwa brand product. MSRP is $22 for a Filler Spool (300yds)
This overview chart shows 15# = 4lb ..... 20# = 6lb (mono equiv.) J-BRAID x4 BRAIDED LINE - MULTI COLOR – Daiwa US

Danny, i use 15 & 40 lb. Diawa J braid x4 in flourescent yellow & really like it. I also have some of the 8 strand in chartreuse but haven't used it yet. I've also used the 65 lb. but replaced it with the 40 strictly for the difference in fall rate. This is bass fishing mind you except for the 15 lb & it's on my crappie rods. Absolutely no complaints from me.

The 4 and 5 strand braid is more abrasion resistance because the strands are bigger but it not as round as the 8 and 9 strand. The 8 and 9 strand braid the strands are a lot small so they can be woven much tighter and even therefore are rounder and will cast farther but the smaller strands fray easier being less as abrasive resistant. If you research Berley X5 and X9 it explains the difference in the number of strands.
