No finesse to the presentations! Man, I see I'm not alone. I just want to work on the new crappie chaser lately. Seems as soon as I think about hooking the Expedition to the tin boat the tress start swaying, just saying.

Kind of like smoke when you’re trying to sit around a campfire!

was howling my last 2 episodes this week , makes it mighty tough to lay the lead down on em, yesterday was so bad I set the hook a few times on wind gusts that I thunk was a bite
it is often really tough to ketch in high wind , but I am here to tell ya this about that , there are some days when they are in super bite mode in them big waves ....
seems it typically bothers the humans way more than the fisheez

that’s hilarious! We’ve had gusty windy days it seems like for the last month every time we get to go fishing. Makes it tough no doubt especially in kayaks!

Anything over 10 and I stay home. My 80 pound thrust TM will handle that. I’m not fishing in slapping waves.

the old prototype 7 footer is like a long drink straw in your hand and it will detect a bite about as good as any rod ever on crappie for sure....
...but that long and light in high wind is NOT a blessing
the good news is with a jig that is as heavy as window weight it don't really matter ....

I was gonna take off work to go fishing. Check the weather report and we are expecting double digit wind speeds for the next 9 days.
