I have two and love them . Can't boat flip fish but are super sensitive even without braid . Got to feel them to net them . lol Bucks best ultralight could be lighter not sure .
What is the lightest 12’ jig pole out there? I have a Sam Heaton SS and it is 5.7 oz. Curious to see what is lighter.

I can't say for sure but I bet a 12' B&M duck commander with a solo jig reel gonna be pretty close to the lightest out there.

Try the 12 ft ACCCRAPPIESTIX mid seat cork handle.
Don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

It will boat flip a 2 pounder
Don’t think you can do that with a Sam Heaton.

The BnM Bucks Ultralight Bottom Reel Seat is extremely light. Having the reel at the bottom acts as a counter weight to make the rod feel even lighter and more sensitive in the hand. I’ve tried them all, and this one is the winner for me. Item # is BULB12. I have a 10 ft for wading, but use the 12 in the boat.

I have a couple of Jenko 13 footers not bad but really nothing to compare them to. They are heavier than my Ozark 10 footers.
