My vote is mega live. Any live technology is hard to beat right now.
Guys I run Humminbird electronics so getting a new monitor etc. is not in the budget. Now the problem is do I want to get Mega Live or Mega 360. I don't tournament fish at all. I have a friend that has Livescope so I have used it so I have a pretty good idea what Mega live will look like. Both are about the same for the transducers and I will have to get a mounting pole for either because I have an Ultera and they say it doesn't have enough motor to lift the transducers so that is a wash. Any opinions are welcome.

My buddy has both mega 360 & mega live on his boat & by far mega live is what i'd choose. No comparison in my opinion to live sonar.

In my mind, Mega 360 is great to locate cover, structure, fish etc. Plus know the distance and location from the boat.
Mega Live is to fish specific spots you found with Mega 360, and to watch fish take your bait.
Can you find those spots using side imaging? Yes.
Do you need to watch fish take your bait? No.
M360 and MLive work as a team. Do you need both? Nope. My preference is M360. Hard to watch the rod tip or slip boober and a screen at the same time. I don't jig fish. So MLive doesn't make sense for me.
