In my area yesterday the water temp was 58 degrees. The crappie were roaming around about 12 ft in18 ft of water. I was using mega live to follow the fish but they did not want to bite.

I would say deep in our neck of the woods Pond. They will start to move shallow as the water warms and the spawn approaches.

Roaming open water! I love it. Wish they'd stay there a while longer. Dreading the spawn lol

Water temp was only 42. But yes I dread the spawn. It’s crazy! People trying to parallel park boat between other boats all along the banks.
