    It’s a fine reel, gill, and I can’t wait to get it out on the water. I bought it for pretty much the reasons you did. So far my nicest spinning reel. I think I’m going to back it with 6lb leftover mono, and then top fill with 2lb Gamma panfish high viz. I wish it was a shallow spool, but that’s ok.

    last year i tried a Daiwa Legalis, after a few months another and one for Christmas, great reels, you will love them, once you first use them you get weak at the knees, that is how good they are smoooth

    I already own two of last year model Legalis 1000 LT’s , I wanted to try the new model and see how they are .
    One of mine is a shallow spool version, I was going to order a couple shallow spool replacements , but the people I know to trust are out of them .
