    Default Garmin GPSMap 1222 Advice

Is the GPSMap 1222 "user friendly" for both maps and livescope? I will have a single unit on my bow and need to consistently toggle between maps and livescope. Or, I will create a split screen with livescope up top and maps on bottom. Even with the split screen, I will need to make adjustments. Or should I go with the Ultra 122sv and utilize the touch screen functionality? Note: will buy the map chip for either unit.

1222 is a great unit. Very easy to use. Just simply push the dial to switch between and adjust forward range, depth, and gain. And you can save screen favorites like your car radio does. Doubtful you would need split screen. Just push one button to switch between maps and scope!

    I love my 1222.
User friendly and great for Livescope.
Only thing I use mine for.
