    it truly is a "lost art" , have not seen a soul in many years do it and even though I have few "just a 10 ft. rod" here and there , it still don't get done by me these days .
    it is much like stalking with a bow and arrow , you sneak in really slowly and try not to spook the fish .
    it can be addicting and in some cases it is way past hilarious , if a fish over 2 lbs or so hits the jig with that short of a line off the tip it becomes instantly on like DONKEY KONG !
