Just my .02 but still a great design n product that catches a lot of fish.
So do I . The tails move better a slower speeds . I noticed the other day that the newer sliders are slightly larger than the older ones too .

Yes, his daughter runs the company now. My son, Jeff Larch, has been fortunate enough to be sponsored by them for about 3 years now. He absolutely loves the many different ways he can use them. He uses them often in his guide trips and they were instrumental in him and his partner winning the Mr. Crappie Invitational this year.
I personally love casting them on an 1/8 oz slider head on a good 7 foot spinning rig.

I hadn’t noticed that so now ya got me heading to the boat to pull out the tray and new bags. If it’s a “new” slider! I’ll take some snips and cut some material out between the tail and body to get better action. Tightlines to ya!

I’ve also noticed on some of the ‘firetail” grubs the plastic isn’t as flexible as the solid colored ones and I have to snip a little V in the tail to get the paddle to move like I want it to .
Since I primarily target gills with these , it’s important to me for the tail to move at a slow retrieve.
I’ve had the same issue with some curly tail grubs .
I prefer a softer plastic over durability. If it catches more fish , it’s worth having to replace the body every couple of fish .
